The museum was established in May 2021 as a Museum-Laboratory of the Department of Supply Chain Management at the International Hellenic University (IHU). Its establishment was an evolution of the department's activities, including the organization of scientific events, which were successfully held as part of the Science and Technology Weeks from 2015 to 2019, over a span of five consecutive years.
