Nikolaos Kladovasilakis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the International Hellenic University (IHU). He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He also received the Master’s degree in “Strategic Product Design” from the International Studies Program of the School of Science and Technology at IHU. In 2023, he was awarded a PhD by the School of Science and Technology at IHU, in the field of “Additive Manufacturing and Materials Science”. Assistant Professor N. Kladovasilakis is actively engaged in applied research aimed at providing innovative solutions in the areas of (a) agile manufacturing technologies, (b) materials science, (c) optimization of manufacturing processes through numerical and experimental analyses, (d) advanced design and development of industrial products, and (e) circular economy in manufacturing and the supply chain. He has participated in more than 12 scientific research projects at both national and European level, and in two spin-off companies. Finally, his academic output includes a large number of scientific publications, with more than 48 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 2 scientific books, 3 book chapters, participation in more than 20 international conferences, and 3 patents.
