SmAgileManufacturing

The SmAgileManufacturing project aims to develop a cloud-based production system built on the Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) model. Through this system, users will be able to design parts from scratch (Design-as-a-Service) or modify existing components sourced from open libraries, according to their needs. The platform will integrate intelligent algorithms that match each design to the most suitable available machines across the network and recommend the optimal manufacturing process. It will also perform automatic design assessment and costing, and provide an estimated production time based on the current workload/capacity utilization. In addition, it will offer customizable logistics services under the Logistics-as-a-Service (LaaS) model, delivered by third-party partners, thereby providing an end-to-end supply chain solution fully aligned with Industry 5.0.
