Dr. Dimitris Folinas is a Professor at the International Hellenic University (IHU). He holds a PhD in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia, as well as a Master’s degree in Information Systems from the same institution. He has extensive academic experience in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at higher education institutions, including the University of Macedonia, Democritus University of Thrace, the Hellenic Open University (HOU), and the Open University of Cyprus (OUC), teaching mainly Information Systems, Enterprise Information Systems, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He is the author and co-author of more than 320 research publications and 14 books. He has participated as a principal researcher in more than 40 European and national research programmes. His main areas of expertise include e-Supply Chain Management, as well as Logistics Technologies and Information Systems.
