EYATH

In the context of the project, a study was conducted aiming the techno-economic analysis of interventionsas proposed by the relevant diagnostic analysis of the existing operation of the EYATH S.A logistics system. In the aforementioned context, were specified technical requirements for the improvement of the existing facilities with the aim of improving the smooth operation of the central warehouse of EYATH in the area Kalochori, were analyzed the relevant technical specifications for the required equipment and the improvement works of the warehouse space was conducted a cost estimation of the interventions was carried out to determine a realistic budget for the reorganization project, as well as a proposed implementation schedule for these interventions was developed. The key areas of the proposedinterventions focused on theimprovement of the building infrastructure including the installation of a new industrial-type flooring the enhancement of lighting both inside and outside the warehouse thesupply and installation of new pallet racks and Dexion-type pallets, thesupply of an electrical manual pallet jack and counterbalance, theinstallation of appropriate signage and markings for better organization of storage locationsand the overall improvement of the warehouse space to increase efficiency and enhance worker safety.
