Evangelos Lioutas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the International Hellenic University (IHU). He holds a PhD and has completed postdoctoral research. He also holds two Master’s degrees from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the International Hellenic University. He has published more than 85 papers in internationally indexed scientific journals and conference proceedings. He participates in various European Union–funded research projects focusing on innovation, alternative supply chains, and agricultural applications. His research interests include agricultural innovation, the socio-ethical implications of digitalisation, sustainable agricultural development, short agri-food supply chains, agricultural education, agricultural knowledge and innovation systems, the assessment of farmers’ skills, and skills development in the agri-food sector.
