Quality Policy

The scientific field of the Undergraduate Program aims to address the growing professional demands and scientific challenges arising from the modern and ever-evolving field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The Department’s primary concern is to deliver this scientific field at a high academic level, providing students with the knowledge and tools needed to meet the needs of the contemporary professional environment in supply chain management. In this context, the Department of Supply Chain Management recognizes the intention of the International University of Greece, as outlined in the Institution's Quality Policy, to be a pillar of excellence in education and research. This involves emphasizing internationalization, leveraging research outcomes, promoting teaching and learning innovation, fostering entrepreneurship, and connecting the Institution with society.

A key component of the strategy for achieving the academic and research goals of the Undergraduate Program is the development and implementation of quality processes, as well as data analysis using quality tools. The quality policy of the Department of Supply Chain Management aims to continuously and systematically ensure, improve, and enhance the quality of the Undergraduate Program and the supporting services of the academic unit.

Within their responsibilities, the above Committees and Working Groups, in collaboration with faculty members, administrative staff, and the Department’s General Assembly, undertake the continuous monitoring, evaluation, and revision of the program. The monitoring and evaluation processes include:

The results of monitoring and evaluation, combined with the Internal and External Evaluation of the Academic Unit, serve as the main inputs for the development of the Department’s Strategic Plan and the revision of the program.
